EXECUTION OF THE DOUBLE CANTILEVER VIADUCT DECK, IN SECTION 3 OF THE MEXICO-TOLUCA INTERURBAN RAILWAY
▶ The execution of double cantilever deck for the West access to the Vasco de Quiroga Station, on the Mexico-Toluca interurban railway, keep progressing.
✅ The length of concrete viaduct is 191.70 m. It is divided in 3 spans of 58.7+85+48 meters and it is executed with a double balanced cantilever construction system. The deck section is a single cell box, 11.5 m wide and variable depht, starting at 5.5 m in the surroundings of the columns and reducing to 3.45 m in the center of the main clearing. For the execution of segments, 4 formwork travellers supplied by VSL International Ltd. are being used.
✅ The original project of the Viaduct has been developed by Sener. IDEAM | A TYLin Company is collaborating with OHLA with the technical assistance during the execution, especially in the camber definition and checking both the deformed deck and the instrumentation, while executing the sections and the instrumentation.
