Do you know what was the first big Network ARCH bridge that was executed in Spain?
The arch bridge over the Deba River in the town of Deba in Guipúzcoa, is the first Bowstring Network steel arch that was built in Spain and entered service in 2006.
The bridge has a span of 110 m, two inclined arches braced in the top, and has two lateral sidewalks in lateral cantilevers separated from the central road.
IDEAM SA carried out the conception, the detailed design and the technical assistance to the Construction Management. The constructor was the J.V. Dragados SA–CONSTRUCCIONES MOYUA SL and the property was Gipuzkoako Foru Aldundia – Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa
